Phil is Projects Counsel (and a former Partner) in Gilbert + Tobin’s Perth Energy + Resources team, who has many years of experience advising on the development and operation of projects in the infrastructure, mining, energy, oil and gas sectors across Australia, Asia and Africa (including Botswana, Congo, Cameroon, Gabon, Mali and Mozambique). Phil has expertise in all forms of contracts for the funding, construction and operation of African resources projects including Government Conventions and the FIDIC “Rainbow Suite” and has advised extensively on the involvement of Chinese investment and Chinese Project Partners in African resources projects. Phil has also served as Chairman and non-executive director on listed and unlisted companies which operate across the energy, resources, infrastructure and engineering sectors.
