Petr Nedvědický, PhDr. Ing., has served as Mayor of the Statutory City of Ústí nad Labem since 2018. He also holds positions as a member of the Ústí Region Council and as a representative of the Střekov city district in Ústí nad Labem. In his role as mayor, he is responsible for the city budget, development of transport infrastructure, municipally owned companies, crisis management, municipal police, and the Činoherní studio theatre. His work focuses primarily on supporting economic development, improving the quality of life for residents, and modernizing urban infrastructure. Key recent achievements include the city’s involvement in the 5G PRO 5 CITIES project and cooperation with the European Investment Bank, which included Ústí nad Labem’s development projects in the annual report of the EIB Advisory Services. This report regularly presents projects prepared with the bank’s expert and technical support.
