Peter Thompson is a Director at Baringa, leading the global gas and LNG market advisory team. He has over 18 years of experience in the provision of business advice to global energy clients, including: supply, marketing and trading business change; gas monetization and early stage project development support; contract review and analysis; market and price assessment and analysis; supporting lenders and equity investors in due diligence process for multi-billion dollar gas assets; development of commercial operational processes and procedures in energy projects around the world. This work is undertaken on behalf of a range of clients, including international and national oil and gas companies, utilities, government and financial institutions. At Baringa he is responsible for the oversight and management of the global gas model, which provides detailed market outlooks, integrated with Baringa’s wider set of energy market analytics tools including in respect of energy transition pathways, power and hydrogen.
