Noor Anwar Albastaki is a Biochemistry student at UAE University and a youth leader in sustainability and innovation. She has published scientific research, won awards for developing solutions such as oil spill remediation, and actively engaged with organizations including ADNOC, CleanTech, WETEX, and the Environmental Agency–Abu Dhabi. Noor has also participated in a highly competitive hackathon with international bodies such as the Saudi Food and Drug Authority and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization gaining experience at the intersection of science, policy, and industry. She currently serves as president of her university’s American Chemical Society Student Chapter and Chess Team and Club, and is passionate about advancing sustainability, cultural diplomacy, and youth engagement in shaping climate solutions.
