Nathaniel Jones is the Vice President of Threat Research, where he overseas threat operations and response to Darktrace customers. Prior to joining Darktrace, Nathaniel spent 8 years in the US government's cyber defence agency, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), with his last posting as the operational liaison to UK's National Cyber Security Agency (NCSC). Previous roles included threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management to international norms and policy. Prior to government, he performed IT security audits and provided cyber risk management expertise during consulting stints at Deloitte and Capgemini. Nathaniel is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and holds a Master's Degree from the University of California where he focused on international management, security policy, and Mandarin.
