I am a Senior Architect from ETSAM, specialized in Urban Planning, with complementary training at the IUAV in Venice and teaching experience at the University of Rosario. Since 1999, I have been a civil servant by competitive examination at the Madrid City Council, where my career has focused on urban planning, land management, and the processing of permits in the Historic Center. I took part in drafting the 1997 General Urban Development Plan, contributing to the definition of the planning framework for Madrid’s central area. I have held various positions of responsibility related to permits, planning, enforcement, and urban management. From 2019 to 2023, I served as Manager of the Activities Agency, leading the modernization of the licensing system in collaboration with accredited private entities and coordinating the drafting of the 2022 Licensing Ordinance. Since 2023, I have been the Director General of the Office for the New Madrid Plan, currently overseeing the preparation of the city’s first Municipal Strategic Plan (Master Plan), a legally binding urban planning document that will shape the future development of the capital.
