Olena Mykolaichuk is the Director, Division of Nuclear Fuel Cycle and Waste Technology, Department of Nuclear Energy, as of 1 July 2022. Before this she was Section Head, Decommissioning and Environmental Remediation in the Department of Nuclear Energy from January 2019. Ms. Mykolaichuk is a leading Expert on waste and remediation, worked in various positions in SSE Chernobyl NPP, NPP Operational Support Institute, State Nuclear Regulatory Committee / Inspectorate of Ukraine (including serving as the Chairperson for 9+ years), EC Delegation to Ukraine and Belarus, etc. She is a holder of a Master's Degree in Chemical Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
