Mohamed Cheikh, a French chef of Algerian origin, discovered cooking with his grandmother in Fontenay-sous-Bois. Trained at the Sucy-en-Brie Hospitality School, he honed his skills in prestigious establishments such as Le Senderens, Le Royal Monceau, the Shangri-La, and alongside Éric Frechon at the Drugstore. At 23, he became one of the youngest head chefs of a five‑star hotel. Revealed to the public after winning Top Chef 2021, he stands out with a modern, generous, and vibrant Mediterranean cuisine. In 2024, he opened Meïda, then developed the concepts Chik’Chill and Meatpack Steakhouse, expressing a committed vision of accessible, welcoming gastronomy rooted in sharing. A globe‑trotting chef, author, and sought‑after creator, he continues his journey with passion and creativity.
