Miroslav Scheiner has been working at the Ministry of Industry and Trade for 13 years. As the Ministerial Envoy for Smart Cities, he coordinates the Czech innovation ecosystem around the topic of smart cities, including its key international partnerships. Within the European project PilotInnCities, he is introducing the Finnish method of agile piloting to the Czech Republic and the Danube region, supporting innovation experiments by startups in municipalities. He also actively contributes to the development of the newly established Czech living lab platform CZELLAP. In addition, he coordinates the Czech participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, as well as the renewed domestic platform URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup in Brno.
