Michal Plaček is Professor of Public and Social Policy at Charles University and Global Research Affiliate SPRI Arizona State University. His research focuses on the institutionalization of sustainable public procurement in different sectors. He has published in journals such as Governance, Public Management Review, and Public Money and Management. He worked for 12 years as head of the internal audit department and also contributed to the preparation of the National Public Procurement Strategy of the Czech Republic.
