Melvin is the Senior Director of APAC Partnerships at Airalo. As one of the company’s strategic leaders in the region, he helps to shape the company’s Asia Pacific business vision and strategy by establishing an ecosystem of cross-industry alliances and partnerships in the region. Melvin is a travel industry expert with over 19 years of experience in various tourism verticals which include Airlines, Attractions, Cruises, Hotels & Resorts, NTOs, Online Travel Agents and Travel SaaS. His expertise spans across sales and marketing distribution, market penetration, partnerships as well as strategic and financial planning covering global markets. Melvin has excellent communication skills and is a seasoned speaker in various tourism events and conferences. Prior to joining Airalo, Melvin held senior leadership positions at global tourism companies such as Aviareps, Disney, Travelzoo, Klook and KKday. He also plays an active role in mentoring youths and conducts pro bono volunteer work.
