Maya Noesen serves as the SEI Climate Corps Fellow at the State of California Department of General Services Office of Sustainability. Ms. Noesen volunteers at Acterra to monitor Bay Area cities’ decarbonization policies and assists with event planning. Previously, Ms. Noesen interned at the Environmental Defense Fund where she researched fuel switching and decarbonization plans in both the private and public sectors. Ms. Noesen holds an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Environmental Science and Biochemistry from Western Washington University.
