As Teamlead for Battery Engineering, Max Knösel is responsible at RWE Renewables Europe & Australia GmbH for the technical design, layout and product configuration of battery storage projects for all European markets. Together with his team he technically supports battery storage projects from early development till final installation and commissioning including handover to operations. Within different positions in the energy utility and EPC business he has gained in over 9 years extensive experience in the energy storage sector, with a proven track record across the entire value chain, including project development, project execution and product and component development. He holds a Master Degree in Renewables Energy from the University of Applied Science Hannover and Göttingen.
