Mathew Prior is CEO of TrustedHousesitters, a global petcare travel exchange with a unique pet-loving community of 160,000 members. Founded in Brighton in the UK in 2010, the exchange operates in more than 140 countries and has organised nearly 10 million nights of pet sitting. Mathew leads and builds mid-cap consumer-focused businesses, with a sweet spot of growing tech-enabled, purpose-driven entities. His background is in travel and leisure, where he led some of the world’s most iconic experiential brands, such as Sunsail and The Moorings, Le Boat, and Crystal Ski, and co-led the carve-out of Travelopia from TUI backed by KKR. Mathew is a strong believer in creating context, customer understanding, robust strategy, autonomous teams and clearly defined outcomes.
