Having begun his career at Berkeley Group, he brings more than 25 years of experience delivering complex, large-scale development and regeneration projects across the UK. Mathew plays a central role in advancing Hadley’s strategic delivery capability, working closely with the Executive and Operational Boards to guide the business through its next phase of growth. His background spans both the private and public sectors, including senior leadership roles at Deloitte LLP, where he served as Partner and Group Head of Development & Assurance. In that role, he led a national team of over 135 specialists delivering major regeneration, infrastructure, and assurance programmes nationwide. Mathew brings deep expertise in public-private partnerships, development governance, and delivery assurance, supporting institutional investors, government bodies, and developers to unlock complex sites and mitigate delivery risk. His track record includes some of the UK’s most ambitious urban regeneration schemes, working with clients such as London Legacy Development Corporation, City of London Corporation, and Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, alongside partners including Greater London Authority, Department for Transport, Homes England, HS2, Network Rail and TfL (Places for London).
