Mary Ann Whaley received her Diploma in Nursing from Watts School of Nursing and her Bachelor of Nursing from Winston Salem State University. She has been certified in wound care for 27 years and in ostomy and foot care for 10 years. She has volunteered with the WOCN Society and WOCNCB on various committees. Mary Ann worked in home care for 20 years as a nurse case manager and a certified wound nurse. She is currently working in acute care as a CWON and CFCN with focus in adult medical ICU and emergency department.
