Medical Doctor and International Medical Education Scholar
Dr. Marwa Schumann is a medical doctor and an international medical education scholar with academic and professional experience across Egypt, the UK, and Germany. Her research expertise lies in the migration and integration of internationally trained physicians, with a strong focus on equity, diversity, and inclusivity (EDI), particularly language inclusivity in health professions education research, curricula, and patient care. She is an AMEE Associate Fellow, a member of the AMEE Faculty Development Committee, and a tutor in the AMEE course Essential Skills in Medical Education under the leadership of Prof. Ronald Harden, and she also serves as a member of the WHO Academy Advisory Group for Lifelong Learning.
