Marten Bunnemann joined E.ON in 2002 after completing his law degree and an MBA and subsequently held various expert and management positions for around 16 years, including in-house lawyer, Head of Corporate Development at E.ON Italia, Head of Transformation Management at E.ON SE and Head of Decentralized Energies / City Energy Solutions at E.ON Germany. Since 2018, he was leading one of Germany’s largest regional energy companies (Avacon AG) in a dual role as CEO & CFO. Since September 2024, Marten took over the role as CEO of E.ON’s newest European wide business division: Energy Infrastructure Solutions (EIS).
