Following a master degree in Industrial Engineering, Marta joined the railway industry in 2012, being selected as a Bombardier UK graduate. She became responsible for the fire safety design and compliance of overground multiple units. Later on, Marta joined the system engineering where, after gaining experience on the traction system, she focused on functional system integration at train level for regional trains. Along her career path, the interest for safety and fire safety matters remained high and she was in charge of the running capability analysis of different projects. Currently she works for Alstom Italy on traction system for high speed trains.
