Dr Mark Micire is a leader in robotics and space systems with more than 20 years of experience advancing autonomy, human–robot interaction, and applied robotics across space, defence, and industry. He has directed programs at NASA, where he led the Intelligent Robotics Group at Ames Research Center, and at DARPA. In industry, Mark has guided technology portfolios as Head of Technology Development at Woodside Energy and now serves as Space Systems Principal Engineer at Fugro’s SpAARC, overseeing Australia’s efforts in remotely operated maritime and space assets. Equally at home in the boardroom, on stage, and in the laboratory.
