Marie-laure Lemineur is the Head of Safeguarding and Child Protection within FIFA’s Education and Social Responsibility Division. This department supports the 211 FIFA member associations across the world in creating a safer football culture. Marie-Laure Lemineur has more than two decades of experience in the field of human rights education and the protection of children from abuse and exploitation online and offline, with roles in Central America, Asia and Europe. She has authored and co-authored several publications and also served on a number of international advisory entities and boards. A law graduate from the University of Jean Moulin, Lyon, France, Marie-Laure earned her master’s in international human rights law from the University of Essex, UK.
