Dr. Marcia has a degree in Agricultural Engineering, and a Master's and PhD in Agronomy (Plant Protection). She was a Scientific Development Fellow. She is currently Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Paraíba, in the Department of Sugar and Alcohol Technology at the Technology Center and Regional Development, working with the diagnosis of sugarcane diseases, alternative methods of disease control, biological control of diseases, and training of farmers in Paraíba on the correct use of pesticides and return of packaging.
