Matlawa is a University of Johannesburg graduate, from where she obtained a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Chemical Engineering. She holds an MBA from the University of Pretoria (GIBS). Her MBA thesis topic was ‘Outsourcing Contracts, as Instruments of Risk Management in the South African Electricity Supply Industry.’ She joined Qunu Staffing as the Managing Director in July 2018.
