As Executive Director Operational Excellence, Maj-Britt Pohlmann has spent the last 5 process excellence at 150 locations at FIEGE - a logistics service provider with 23,500 employees. Having grown up in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg, her fascination for the harbour brought her into logistics in 2006. Since then, she has been deeply rooted in the world of logistics and knows the supply chain value chain from all industry perspectives. She has extensive experience in the planning and implementation of automated logistics centres - always at the interface between process, technology and IT. In combination with her in-depth knowledge of lean management, she advises companies worldwide on operational excellence transformations and in the areas of sustainability and digitalisation. Maj-Britt is convinced that strong change leadership skills are fundamental to any transformation. Her passion for connecting the skills of people in different areas of the organisation in order to achieve better results together drives her every day. And we can be excited, because her book with her personal ‘Next Level Excellence’ concept will be published in 2025.
