Full Professor (on leave) in the Scientific Disciplinary Sector ING-IND/16 "Manufacturing Technologies and Systems" at the University of Naples Federico II, where he teaches "Aerospace Materials Technologies". He is the author of approximately 300 scientific publications, mostly of an international nature, has published 3 books on innovative manufacturing technologies, and has edited a volume on technology transfer. He has also published over 200 popular science articles in national and international journals. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Campania Aerospace Technology District (DAC) – S.c.a r.l. Advisor to the President of the Campania Regional Government for Aerospace Policies and the strengthening and enhancement of the related supply chains. Member of the Executive Council of the Mechatronics Industry Section of the Union of Industrialists of Naples. Coordinator of the National Committee of Aerospace Districts – CTNA. Member of the Governing Body of the National Aerospace Technology Cluster. Vice President of the Campania Aerospace Foundation Academy. Member of the Scientific Committee of the Spring Cluster (Sustainable Processes and Resources for Innovation and National Growth). He has also served as President of CIRA – the Italian Aerospace Research Centre.
