Lisa Vincent, PhD is ABMGG board-certified laboratory geneticist with over 15 years in the diagnostic genetics industry and 24 years of study in human and molecular genetics. Her extensive experience includes developing, validating, managing, and improving clinical genomics laboratory operations in accordance with CLIA/CAP licensure and state regulations. Specifically, her expertise has contributed to updating technical standards for Next-generation sequencing and upcoming refinements of ACMG-AMP variant classification guidelines. She is currently the Senior Laboratory Director of Organ Heath and Genomic Platforms at Natera and serves as a Co-Chair for the ClinGen RASopathy working group and its Variant Curation Expert Panel (VCEP). Previously, Dr. Vincent was the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory Director at Children's National Hospital (Washington, DC) in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology and the Director of Post-Graduate Education at GeneDx (Gaithersburg, MD) where she supported pediatric and rare disease diagnostic testing.
