Laura is the Vice President, Responsible Leadership for New Balance Athletics, Inc. Laura leads the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability functions. In this capacity she leads a global team of 27 based in five countries, focused on labor rights, health and safety and the wellbeing of supply chain workers, and corporate and supply chain environmental strategy. Prior to joining New Balance, Laura spent more than 25 years in the apparel and footwear space designing and aligning corporate responsibility, ESG and sustainability initiatives to business priorities. Most recently, Laura spent six years at Global Brands Group as the Senior Vice President, Social and Environmental Affairs, where she was responsible for the successful development and evolution of supply chain reputational risk management programs that facilitated business decision-making and mitigated risks particularly related to social, labor and environmental concerns. Laura graduated from James Madison University with a degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). She served as the chair of the AAFA’s Social Responsibility Committee for 14 years before exiting that role in 2023.
