Kent Hauptfleisch is currently responsible for executing Sonnedix’ market entry strategy into Poland through the acquisition of solar PV projects at various stages of their development or operational lifecycle. He has previously been involved in the acquisition of various assets in France, Italy, and Spain as well as strategic approaches on several multi-geography platforms on behalf of Sonnedix. Prior to joining Sonnedix in 2019, Kent provided investment advisory services to various emerging market-facing investment platforms. Projects included the $115 million refinancing of an African independent power producer and investment advisory on the acquisition of various industrial businesses in Africa and Asia. Prior to that, he worked for Standard Chartered Bank’s M&A team where he advised on the bid for a 600MWp power plant in Botswana amongst other mandates. Kent holds an honors degree in Investment Management from the University of Pretoria and is currently completing his Executive MBA with the Warwick Business School.
