I am a MD-PhD physician-scientist with combined training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Clinical Genetics. I am an Associate Professor and the Director of Research in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Washington. I am the PI of the Washington Pregnancy Biorepository (WPR), an obstetric biobanking project with collection of maternal and fetal samples and associated clinical and demographic data throughout pregnancy and delivery for ongoing research efforts. Work in my laboratory is focused on using translational research approaches to understand adverse pregnancy outcomes, in particular preeclampsia, stillbirth, and fetal anomalies. <br><br>B.
