<p>Kamal&nbsp;Ahmed is one of Europe&rsquo;s most senior journalists and&nbsp;a&nbsp;renowned event moderator and business and economics expert.&nbsp;After starting his career in Scotland, he rose to hold senior roles at&nbsp;the UK's leading national newspapers including The Guardian, The&nbsp;Observer and The Telegraph, where he was business editor. In 2014&nbsp;he joined the world's largest news broadcaster, BBC News,&nbsp;serving as&nbsp;Business Editor, Economics Editor and Editorial Director.​</p> <p>In 2021 he co-founded the social-first publisher, The News Movement, and spent a further 18 months at The Telegraph as Director of&nbsp;Audio, launching its daily podcasts.​</p> <p>In December 2025, he was named Executive Editorial Director at Fortune, where he leads the expansion of Fortune&rsquo;s footprint across Europe through its website, print magazine, newsletters, events, and new video and audio content, with a particular focus on&nbsp;Fortune 500 companies.&nbsp;​</p>
