Dr Kai Yang has over 10 years’ experience on e-textiles with primarily focused on the materials, manufacturing and healthcare application development. She was awarded an EPSRC Fellowship in 2018 to develop “Advanced E-textiles for Wearable Therapeutics”. She was PI on the Medical Research Council SMARTmove project to develop a textile based wearable Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) training system for stroke rehabilitation. She was a co-founder of Smart Fabric Inks Ltd and Founder of Etexsense Ltd.
