Jurgen Malbrancke is team leader at CRM Group within the department Metal Processing with a master degree in mechanical engineering. He started in research and development in 2004 and worked on various topics related to work roll degradation during hot rolling for flat and long products. He was the project leader of several European RFCS projects and has authored and co-authored multiple technical papers. He was the co-recipient of the rolls technology award (2013) and the Hunt-Kelly (2014) Outstanding Paper Award (AIST), third place.
