Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin boasts an impressive educational and professional background. For professional qualifications, Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin holds the distinguished title of Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA - ICAN) and is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). His career trajectory commenced with a role as a Senior Internal Auditor at Ibru Organization, a position he held from 1996 to 2000. During this formative stage, he honed his skills and gained invaluable experience in the field of internal audit. In 2000, he joined Zenith Bank as an auditor and progressively ascended the organizational ladder. His roles included that of an IT Auditor and responsibilities in Internal Control and Audit. Throughout his 12-year tenure, his contributions played a pivotal role in enhancing the bank's internal control and audit functions. Following his tenure at Zenith Bank, in 2013, he joined the GIG Group as Group Head, Internal Audit and Control until January 2016 and also became Group Head of Finance, where he made significant contributions in various capacities. His proficient leadership and expertise in the domains of finance and audit significantly contributed to the success of the GIG Group during his tenure from 2013 to 2019. His appointment to this role commenced in 2019. In this capacity, he oversees the financial aspects of the company while also spearheading strategic projects at the JET Motor Company Electric Vehicles. Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin served as the first Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Jet Systems Automobile Industry Ltd in 2021, the position he held until his appointment as DG, NADDC. The recent appointment of Joseph Oluwemimo Osanipin as the Head of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) could open new opportunities in the future of mobility in Nigeria. This is because the NADDC, a federal government agency, has shown a commitment to embracing electric vehicles (EVs) as a sustainable alternative to traditional internal combustion engines (ICE).
