I am a Research Fellow at the Centre for Ecosystem Science in the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. I am member of the IUCN Commission on Ecosystem Management, in which I contribute as a member of the Red List of Ecosystems Thematic Group and the Green Status of Ecosystems Task Force, as well as an appointed member of the Scientific Committee of the Global Ecosystem Typology.In my research role I develop methods and frameworks to inform ecosystem science and the conservation of biological diversity. My research is influencing global and national policy on conservation.
