Jorge Rubalcaba is currently an Associate R&D Director in Packaging, Specialty Plastics & Hydrocarbons R&D for Dow Inc.. He leads the Commercial Technology & Scale-up Teams that are responsible for implementing new process and product technologies across Dow’s global Polyethylene and Hydrocarbons asset base. Jorge joined Dow in 1999 and has spent his entire career in Process R&D performing different technical and management roles while living in various locations across the U.S. and Europe. He also serves as Dow’s representative on the Industrial Partnership Council for the Society of Hispanic Engineers (SHPE) and is Dow’s recruiting co-captain for the SHPE National Convention. Jorge holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and currently resides in Pearland, TX with his wife and two young sons.
