Johanna did her bachelor in Electrical Engineering with a 2-year specialization in Power Systems in Ecuador, at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral, ESPOL. After graduating, she started working as a planning analyst at the Ecuadorian State Electricity Distribution holding company, Corporación Nacional de Electricidad (CNEL EP). By the beginning of 2016, she obtained her master's degree in Renewable Energies in Germany, at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences. Since 2016, she was part of the solar team of TÜV Rheinland GmbH in Cologne. Her work focused on the analysis of the energy performance of solar modules under real conditions in several international projects. Her expertise includes PV module characterization, PV system performance analysis, field failures, energy rating and bifacial technologies. Johanna also holds a professional certificate in Solar Energy in Hot Desert climates at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), Qatar. In November 2020, Johanna joined Jinko Solar as a Technical Service manager in the EU Tech Team.
