João started his career as a developer at Accenture, where he progressed from consultant to solutions architect delivering HR technology solutions for large international organizations. Drawn to the intersection of people and systems, he relocated to Zurich over a decade ago, where he took on progressively broader roles in global HR operations at Zurich Insurance — leading HCM operations, and delivering the global HR Case Management platform on ServiceNow. Between 2020 and 2022, he brought that hands-on experience to KPMG as an independent consultant before returning to Zurich Insurance to lead the functional delivery of a full-scale global HR transformation on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. With a background that spans technology, consulting, and change, João brings an end-to-end perspective on what it takes to make complex HR solutions work for complex organizations.
