Jing Fu is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. Her research focuses on the thermochemical conversion of biomass and the modelling and simulation of grate furnace systems. She develops numerical models to investigate the complex interactions between heat transfer and chemical reactions during biomass combustion. Before pursuing her Ph.D., she worked as a research assistant in Geneva, Switzerland, where she was involved in the design of thermal systems, particularly radiators. Jing Fu holds a background in thermal engineering and is interested in improving the efficiency and sustainability of biomass combustion technologies.
