Death Doula and Certified Senior Advisor · The Heartwood Collective · company speakers →

Jennifer Tadjedin is a Death Doula and Certified Senior Advisor who brings both personal insight and professional dedication to her end-of-life work. After a career in advertising, Jen pursued a major shift toward more meaningful, human-centered work. Her deep comfort with death and dying, shaped by personal life experiences, became the foundation for a new path rooted in service and compassionate presence. Jen is driven by a strong desire to help others approach the end of life with clarity, empowerment, and peace. Through one-on-one doula support and educational planning workshops, she works to normalize conversations about mortality and help individuals and families face this natural stage of life with openness and confidence. She offers an extra layer of advocacy, education, organization, and companionship—helping people get ahead of the details so they can spend their final years knowing they’re calling the shots. Her approach centers on creating space for honest dialogue, supporting both the dying and their loved ones through practical planning and emotional preparation. Jen helps individuals complete their advance directives, organize their life files, plan death celebrations, and ensure their affairs are in order—not only as a gift to loved ones, but as assurance and control for themselves. She takes comfort in providing guidance to those facing death—support they might not have otherwise. Rather than depleting her, she feels empowered and fulfilled by the work.
