Mr. Jean-Luc BARAS graduated from ENIT (French School of Engineering in Tarbes) and from Kedge Business School in Bordeaux. He began his career at Schneider as a buyer, then joined Arcelor as Group Category Manager. He successively held the positions of Purchasing Director and Industrial Director at Tata Steel Building Solution. He joined Eiffage Construction in 2004 to lead the purchasing department, then Eiffage Energie Systems in 2008. In 2015, he became Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of the Eiffage Group. After several years as administrator of the CNA (National Purchasing Council) and as President and founder of the Club of CPO, Jean-Luc BARAS was elected President of the CNA in 2019.
