Jan Nadrchal (*1987, Pardubice) is a Czech politician who has served as Mayor of the Pardubice since 2022. He has been active in local politics for many years and has closely connected both his professional career and public service with his hometown, which he considers the natural centre of his personal and professional life. He graduated from a secondary school focused on information technology and later studied Computer Support in Archival Science at University of Hradec Králové. He began his professional career in 2007 at the Fire Rescue Service of the Pardubice Region. He later worked as a programmer and software developer at ASSORTIS Electric and GEOVAP, specialising in systems for public administration and municipalities. He entered municipal politics in 2018 as a member of the council of the Pardubice V city district, where he subsequently also served on the district council board. In the same year, he was elected to the Pardubice City Council. In 2020, he became Deputy Mayor responsible for development, strategy, and the environment, and in 2022 he was elected Mayor of Pardubice. His professional and political career has been closely tied to his hometown of Pardubice, where he applies his experience in information technology and public administration to the management and development of the city.
