James joined Auto Trader in 2018, with over 13 years of experience in the automotive industry. In his current role, he is responsible for Auto Trader’s relationships with Captive and Independent lenders, Lease Co’s and Rental Firms, supporting integrate finance API services and delivering value through the use of detailed vehicle data, supporting EV risk management and valuations. Additionally, James leads Auto Trader’s relationships with energy, EV infrastructure and EV battery data firms to support EV adoption. Since joining Auto Trader James has also been a champion of Auto Trader’s environmental agenda, supporting the deployment of the Carbon Literacy Automotive Toolkit to many partners across the UK and internationally. Prior to joining Auto Trader, James worked at Nissan where he was head of Network Development & Strategy in the UK alongside various sales and marketing roles. James holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Kent in Business and Law.
