Isaree (Start) Sismey is a senior director at MMR Research Worldwide with almost two decades of experience in sensory and consumer research for some of the world’s biggest beauty and personal care brands. Today Start leads MMR’s engagement with Unilever across Asia, helping to design research studies from sensory panels to consumer testing. A passionate believer in the power of the sensory product experience in successful innovation, Start has recently worked on developing premium face care products for South East Asia as well as understanding consumer receptivity to new technical advances in Skin Beauty Enhancement and Anti-Ageing. Based in Bangkok, Start leads the MMR Research Team in Thailand and has also spent several years working in Shanghai and at MMR headquarters in the UK partnering with global CPG clients. Prior to joining MMR in 2011, Start worked for leading healthcare research agency HRW and spent four years as a qualitative researcher for Synovate in Bangkok.
