Isabelle Le Callennec is a French elected official with experience in local, national, and European public service, as well as in the housing sector. Since June 2024, she has been a Member of the European Parliament for the Les Républicains party within the EPP Group, where she sits on the Special Committee on the Housing Crisis in the EU and contributes to discussions on the European Affordable Housing Plan and the European Parliament’s related report. At the regional level, she has served as a Regional Councillor for Brittany since June 2021 and is currently President of the political group Hissons Haut la Bretagne. From May 2020 to June 2024, she was Mayor of Vitré and President of Vitré Communauté, where she focused in particular on local housing policies and intermunicipal cooperation. Her professional background also includes responsibilities in the housing sector. Between October 2017 and May 2020, she worked as Director for Security, Social Cohesion, and Urban Development at Action Logement Immobilier and served as President of APES. Earlier in her career, she was a Member of the French National Assembly for Ille-et-Vilaine from 2012 to 2017 and a Departmental Councillor from 2008 to 2015.
