He is Associate Vice President of global multidisciplinary firm CannonDesign and is based in Sacramento. He currently serves as a commissioner for the Sacramento Preservation Commission. Ian is Architect of Record for the historic Bateson Building renovation in Sacramento. At its opening in 1981, it was promoted as the most energy-efficient office building in the nation.
