Gary Starr is a senior executive and industry leader in eCommerce, logistics and customer experience, with more than 30 years’ experience across technology, telecommunications and supply chain sectors. As Executive General Manager of Parcel, Post & eCommerce Services at Australia Post, Gary leads one of Australia’s largest eCommerce enablement platforms—spanning domestic and international parcels, retail networks, and cross-border logistics. He is responsible for shaping the commercial, product and customer experience strategy that supports retailers, marketplaces and small businesses to grow in an increasingly digital economy. Gary plays a central role in driving innovation across last-mile delivery, out-of-home networks, and digital customer experiences, helping to connect merchants with consumers through fast, reliable and seamless delivery solutions. His focus is on improving conversion, reducing friction at checkout, and enabling scalable growth for Australia’s retail ecosystem. Prior to Australia Post, Gary held senior leadership roles at Motorola Solutions, leading operations across Southeast Asia and working with organisations in retail, transport, public safety and supply chain. Gary is a passionate advocate for inclusion and culture and serves as the executive sponsor for LGBTQIA+ inclusion at Australia Post, championing diversity across the organisation. Gary brings to the NORA Advisory Board deep expertise in eCommerce trends, omnichannel fulfillment, and customer-led transformation.
