Flora Peyvandi is Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Milan, and director of the Angelo Bianchi Bonomi Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center of the Milan Policlinic Hospital. She is currently the President of the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) and Past-President of the Executive Committee of EAHAD. She serves as advisor on the European Agency of Medicine and on the Technical Health Committee of the Italian Ministry of Health.
