Fatoumata SANGARE is an OT cybersecurity officer at Enedis, the main Distribution System Operator (DSO) in France. She is responsible for implementing IEC cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443) within the Network Operations department of the Technical Division. She ensures security by design for applications, as well as the adoption of secure development practices (S-SLDA). Fatoumata holds a Master’s degree in business law and a second Master’s in risk management. She is a member of UF 65 AFNOR (French NC). She is an alternate member of IEC Conformity Assessment Board (CAB). She was elected IEC 2024 Young Professional Leader for Africa and Europe. In this role, she leads the “Women Empowerment project”, which aims to enhance the recognition of women in standardization.
