Fabian Bahr is heading global public affairs and government relations for Carl Zeiss AG. ZEISS is an internationally leading technology enterprise operating in the optics and optoelectronics industries. The ZEISS Group generated annual revenue totaling roughly 11 billion billion euros in its four segments Industrial Quality & Research, Medical Technology, Consumer Markets and Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology. Before joining ZEISS, Mr. Bahr has led the government affairs department of a leading, globally active German security and payment company. Prior to that, he was running the Brussels office of a German tech industry association. Fabian Bahr is a political scientist by education (University of Leipzig), with postgraduate studies at French Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA). He’s married with two children and lives in the greater Berlin area.
