With over 20 years of professional experience, Émilie Espanet currently serves as Secretary General of the New Energies Coalition, a coalition launched by Rodolphe Saadé in 2019, where she leads initiatives focused on sustainability and the energy transition within transport and supply chains. The coalition recently published a study exploring the potential role of nuclear energy in decarbonizing maritime transport. Emilie graduated from Kedge Business School in 2004 and began her career as a consultant for the industrial, banking and insurance sectors. She joined CMA CGM in 2008 and has since held various leadership positions including Internal Audit Manager, Transformation Senior Manager, Director of Organization, before taking on her current role. Émilie is also a member of the Steering Committee of “La Fabrique de la Logistique,” a French organization supporting the decarbonization of supply chains. Additionally, she is an active member of WISTA (Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association), contributing to the advancement of women in the maritime and logistics sectors.
